Here we go again


10 years ago today, I sat in this very spot and started a blog. I had no idea what I was doing or how much it would change my life.
The blog was 365 to 42 and its effect on my life was stunning.
Now I'm going to do it again, but this time I know what I am getting in to.
The plan, as last time, is to post a photo a day till I'm 52, but this time it will be a mix of photos both old and new.
Todays photo is from my bedroom window a few days ago.

The Leek Blues festival

During the last 10 years, I have had the pleasure to be asked to photograph some of the areas best events. Some of these have lead to a long-standing association and produced some of my best work. The Leek Blues festival is one of those events and this picture is from one of last years gigs. This picture, while not one of my best, sums up the festival and my involvement very well. Staring with the main focus of the picture that is the little girl captivated by the band, showing the wide-ranging appeal that the festival has. Also, the background to the left of the band shows my exhibition of images taken over the last few festivals.
